Zealand 1996 $20 Commemorative. Queen Elizabeth the Second (Elizabeth
Alexandra Mary) was born on 21st April 1926. She acceded to the throne
of the United Kingdom following the death of her father, King George VI
(Albert Frederick Arthur George 1895-1952) on 06.02.1952. In addition to
the United Kingdom, she is also the constitutional monarch of 15
nations around the world, including Australia, Canada and New Zealand.
The Queen is also the head of the Commonwealth of Nations.
I
am not sure if this is correct. According to a report, only 3,000
pieces of these commemorative notes were printed, of which 2,497 pieces
were actually issued. If this is the case, this is indeed a rare note to
collect. The official release comes in a case together with a NZ$5
coin. I only have the note. No coin or the case either!
