..Tonga - 10, 20 and 50 Pa'anga 2009 Series (2014 Reprint)

Puleʻanga Fakatuʻi ʻO Tonga
(Kingdom of Tonga)

Pangike Pule Fakafanua 'O Tonga
(National Reserve Bank of Tonga)
Currency - Pa'anga (TOP)

Here are the three notes all printed with the same signatures. These are the only three notes that bear the same signatures and are all reprints of the series first issued in 2009. Since the 2009 series was introduced, there have been few reprints varieties issued for this series.

Second Prints nd2012
Prime Minister - Lord Tu'ivakano [Siale Ataongo Kaho] (tenure 2010-2014) ; and
Minister of Finance - Sunia Manu Fili (tenure 2010-2012).
Banknotes issued - T$1, T$2, T$5 and T$10 (please click onto the link to view the notes)

Third Prints nd2014
Prime Minister - Lord Tu'ivakano [Siale Ataongo Kaho] (tenure 2010-2014); and
Minister of Finance - Lisiate Akolo (tenure 2012-2014).
Banknotes issued - T$10, T$20 and T$50.

Here I have added the T$10 and T$50 to the T$20 that I already have in my collection. No reprint was issued or reported for the T$100 note. There are no changes to the initial design of these notes.

The Minister of Finance Lisiate Akolo was fired from his cabinet post on 09.01.2014 after he publicly criticised the country's aspect of the budget. As he left the ministry post in early January 2014, it is not sure if these notes were released before or after his cabinet position terminated. This series of banknotes have since been replaced by the 2015 series, all printed with the new King of Tonga.

Obviously as you can see, for this 2009 series, the T$10 note was the only denomination that has been printed three times all with difference signatures combination whilst the remaining denominations only printed twice, except for the T$100 note.
