Currency : Dollar (FJD)
Odd note of one dollar (in ef condition) with the portrait of Queen Elizabeth the Second. This note was first issued in 1969. A complete set would consist of $0.50, $1, $2, $5, $10 and $20. This is the only note I have in my collections.
This series was the first issue when Fiji converted the pounds, shillings and pence (£.s.d.) to decimal currency on 15.01.1969. The exchange rate for the old to new was F$2 = F£1 or F$1 = 10 shillings.
