This is a reprint of the $50 polymer note first issued in 2016 "Brighter Money Series".  This note bears the signature of Bank Governor, Adrian Orr, who was appointed to this role in March 2018. This is the first banknote issued with his signature on it.

It appears that there is no change to the design except that it has a new Governor's signature and the new "date".
