A set of traveller's cheques specimens of $20, $50 and $100 all in uncirculated condition.
These cheques were issued by the National Bank of Australasia Limited in 1980. The bank was established in 1858 in Melbourne by Alexander Gibb and Andrew Crusckshank. In 1981, the bank merged with the Commercial Banking Company of Sydney (founded in 1834) to form the National Bank of Australia Limited (NAB). NAB is one of the 4 major banks (big 4) in Australia. I believe the signature on these cheques belong to Jack Booth, who was then the managing director of NAB.
